01Golden Hour
Afternoon or Sunset Cruise
The classic. We push off with the sun still high enough to warm the deck and come back under a sky that has done four different colors.
- Watch the sky change color from a cushioned bow seat
- Marsh light, working docks and the Essex waterfront
- Blankets come out when the breeze turns — they always do

02Long Island Sound
Half-Day Cruise
Four hours is enough to leave the river behind. We run the mouth at Saybrook and turn out into the Sound with the whole afternoon still ahead.
- Reach open water and still be back before dinner
- Swim stop or a quiet anchorage, your call on the day
- Best window for a group that wants to actually relax

03The Long Way
Full-Day Cruise
Six hours buys you distance. Coves in the morning, lunch at anchor, lighthouses in the afternoon and the light going soft on the way home.
- The only charter that reaches Ledge Light and back comfortably
- Anchor for lunch somewhere with nobody else in it
- Bring a cooler; there is fridge-cold ice waiting aboard

Barn Swallow Migration
For a few weeks each year, hundreds of thousands of barn swallows funnel into the Connecticut River marshes at dusk and drop in one enormous spiral. We anchor and shut the engine off for it.
